
BLASTUS
An high score chasing arcade inspired roguelike where your only form of movement is being propelled in the opposite direction of where you're shooting.
Enemies spawn in waves, a wave completes if all enemies are dead or the timer in the top right corner reaches 0. After a wave ends you get to pick between 3 double-sided upgrades, adding more enemies and making both you and the enemies stronger.
Controls (brackets=gamepad/controller):
Move Mouse to Aim (/left joystick)
Left Click/Spacebar to Shoot (/right trigger/south button)
ESC/pause to Pause (/start)
recommended to play with a controller
Music may take a short while to load in

i liked the concept and the UI was very nice looking for the upgrade screens. it was a bit hard to tell i was moving as i shot though. took me a second. i thought the enemies were running away from me as i shot them. overall great game! good job!

it was a little annoying just having enemies come right at me from offscreen tho, maybe the camera should be a little more zoomed out?
Fair, I just feared that the enemies popping into existence would be to jarring (but now that I think of it, it would of been masked by the upgrade menu...) so I just spawned them off screen as I didn't feel like making a spawn animation.
